Inventory rule
Protect the item that unlocks the next route. Gold competes between skips and Ransom, a Waiting Ticket belongs to Teller, CD-1 must survive into The Stairwell, and food storage matters only after the room is safe.
On a phone, swipe the database sideways to compare location, use, purpose, and badge.

Lunch Box
Organize it at a safe stop; a container does not make a dangerous corridor safe.
Open guide →ThrowablePaper Plane
Do not depend on it to clear a Drone from an exit; reports of Drone movement are inconsistent.
Open guide →Encounter itemWaiting Ticket
Keep the ticket visible and do not outrun Teller; disappearing tickets and blocked progress are being reported.
Open guide →Light sourceShakelight
Read the live machine price before buying and keep enough Gold for the rest of the route.

Guides disagree on the exact order around payment and breaking the pot; follow the live prompt and do not promise retained Gold.
Open guide →Secret-route itemCD-1
Do not skip Sector S or plan on storing CD-1 in a Rift; current player reports say the disc refuses Rift storage.

A–Z completion
Preserve health and keep a Gold reserve. Buy skips where they protect the most invested time.
Badge run
Prioritize the encounter item or room needed for the selected official badge name.
Stairwell run
Carry the Skeleton Key to Door 152 and keep CD-1 in the live inventory when REDACTED is the objective.
