Quick answer
Teller gives you a Waiting Ticket with a number. Keep the ticket, move with the encounter, watch Teller’s display or call, and return the ticket when your number is reached. The full roped queue is also the current player route for Patience, but that is a separate task.

Item checklist
- Take the Waiting Ticket when Teller begins the encounter.
- Read the number and keep the ticket in your inventory.
- Move at Teller’s pace instead of racing several rooms ahead.
- Watch the displayed or called number and return the ticket during the matching window.
- Continue only after the progression door or encounter clearly releases.
Ticket number versus queue route
The ticket is the core Teller encounter item. Its number tells you when to hand it back. Walking every switchback of the waiting-room queue is a different objective currently associated with Patience, so do not treat one action as a substitute for the other.
Keep Teller in the encounter flow
Recent players report Teller or the ticket disappearing after they move ahead, and reports disagree on whether that safely ends the encounter or blocks the run. A cautious approach is to avoid opening extra doors while Teller is behind and keep the ticket until the return prompt is complete.
When progress stops
If Teller disappears, first check whether the next progression interaction has released. If the door remains blocked and the ticket is gone, there is no repeatable in-run recovery in the current reports. Preserve a screenshot of the room number and use the known-issues page before another long attempt.
Questions players ask
Where do I find a Waiting Ticket?
Teller hands it to the player when the Archives encounter begins.
When do I return the ticket?
Return it when Teller’s display or call reaches the number printed on your ticket.
Does the ticket give Patience?
The current Patience route is walking the complete roped queue. The ticket-return sequence is the separate Teller task associated with Now Served.
