After the Door 150 Grumble Nest sequence, reach the Door 152 area, follow the broken route down, and use a Skeleton Key on the hidden Stairwell access point.
Prepare before The Mines
The key is the real gate. Preserve a Skeleton Key for the late-Mines route instead of spending it on an earlier optional lock. Recover before leaving the normal path, keep audio on, and regroup before the unlock.
Door 152 route
- Carry the Skeleton Key through the run.
- Complete the major sequence around Door 150.
- Reach Door 152 and search the damaged structure for a lower path.
- Follow the lower passage to the locked access point.
- Unlock it, enter together, and switch to Stairwell encounter rules.
Landing rules
The Stairwell is not a normal door corridor. Early documentation describes repeated landings, darkness, alarms, collection tasks, and threats that react to looking or moving. Use short, deliberate movement segments so you can respond without fighting your own momentum.
