Quick answer

When the Teller waiting-room queue appears, enter at the beginning of the roped line and walk the entire queue instead of taking the open side shortcut. Repeat the route in a new run if you completed it before the badge was added on September 3.

Current report: Players connect the badge to walking the full Teller queue, but same-day award reports are mixed.

Current route

  1. Join a current DOORS server and enter The Archives after the September 3 badge addition.
  2. When a Teller queue room appears, find the beginning of the roped path rather than entering from the open side.
  3. Walk every turn of the queue in order and continue through its intended exit.
  4. Finish the room interaction before checking the award panel; do not assume a pre-September 3 queue walk counted retroactively.
  5. If the award does not appear, rejoin a fresh server and repeat the full line once rather than grinding unrelated Teller actions.

What the current route asks you to do

The queue is designed with a long roped path and an easier-looking side approach. Current players who received Patience connect it to respecting the full line. Start where the queue begins, follow every switchback, and leave through the normal end.

This is separate from simply taking a Waiting Ticket or surviving Teller for Now Served. Treat the walking route as the badge task and the ticket countdown as the encounter task.

Why an older queue run may not count

Roblox created Patience on September 3, several days after The Archives launched. Players who walked the line before that addition report needing to do it again. A previous clean run is not evidence that the new award should already be on the account.

Patience not appearing

Same-day reports include both immediate awards and failed first attempts. Check that you did not cut through the side opening, then try one fresh-server run. If the second full route still gives no award, stop repeating the same action and check the known-issues page for a newer state.

  • Use the queue entrance, not the open side.
  • Walk the complete switchback path.
  • Repeat runs completed before September 3.
  • Rejoin once to avoid testing on an older server build.

Questions players ask

Is Patience the same as Now Served?

No. Current reports tie Patience to walking the full queue. Now Served is associated with completing the Teller ticket sequence.

Does an old queue run count?

Players report needing to repeat queue walks completed before the badge was created on September 3.

Do I need to take a Waiting Ticket?

The public badge description is blank. Follow the full queue first; complete the Teller interaction normally if it begins, but do not substitute ticket actions for the line itself.

Is Patience broken?

Some players received it while others needed more than one attempt. The evidence supports an inconsistent first-day award, not a universal failure.
