How to get CD-1 at S-50

Use the laptop control that ejects the disc. The pickup should enter your inventory as CD-1. Keep it equipped only when needed so an ordinary loot decision does not replace the route item.
Carry the disc from Archives to Stairwell
This is a chained-floor run, not a direct Lobby Archives attempt. Successful player reports leave The Archives, continue through the run, reach The Mines, and take the guaranteed Door 152 route into The Stairwell.
Do not build the plan around storing CD-1 in a Rift. September 3 player reports say the disc refuses Rift and briefcase storage. Store or preserve the Skeleton Key instead, and keep CD-1 in the live inventory.
Use the television and trigger Hijack
