Z-50 in DOORS The Archives

What Z-50 means, how to plan the final sector, and how the official Z-50 badge fits the A–Z route.

Target: doors archives z-50Updated August 29, 2026
Official Archives trailer memory sequence

Quick answer

Z-50 is the final numbered room in the 26-sector Archives route. The official update badge list also includes “Z-50.” Reach the last sector with health, Gold, and a stable team plan; confirm the actual badge award in your run because Roblox did not publish a public badge description.

Route checklist

  1. Use sector elevators to track progress from A through Z.
  2. Save recovery resources for the late sectors rather than treating Z as a fresh run.
  3. Enter Section Z with every player together and a known response for each entity cue.
  4. Continue through Z-50 and wait for the run result or badge notification before leaving.

Why Z-50 is the endpoint

Each Archives section contains 50 rooms. The sequence begins with A and ends with Z, so Z-50 is the final coordinate in the room system. It represents a complete no-shortcut route of up to 1,300 rooms, reduced by any sectors skipped with Gold.

Roblox’s official badge API lists a badge named Z-50 among the 35 badges created for the update. The API did not expose a description at launch, so use the in-game award as the completion signal instead of relying on an unofficial trigger variation.

Late-run checklist

The late run is a consistency test. Stop spending Gold simply because an elevator offers a choice; weigh remaining currency against Ransom pressure and the number of sectors left. Heal before the last sector, not after an avoidable hit inside it.

  • Confirm sound is audible for Bash and other approach cues.
  • Keep one player responsible for reading Teller and pattern rooms.
  • Avoid speedrun movement during Alma until the sequence is stable.
  • Take a screenshot of the final result if the badge notification is delayed.

Z-50 and The Stairwell are separate targets

The Stairwell is reached from The Mines near Door 152 with a Skeleton Key. It has its own landing sequence and threats such as Creak and Noise. Z-50 belongs to The Archives A–Z route; do not combine both goals into one assumed floor path.

Questions players ask

Is Z-50 the same as A-50?

No. A-50 ends the first section; Z-50 ends the last section.

Is Z-50 inside The Stairwell?

No. Z-50 is part of The Archives. The Stairwell is a separate secret subfloor route from The Mines.

Can sector skips still reach Z-50?

Current walkthroughs report that Gold skips whole sections. The in-game result determines whether a specific badge condition accepts your route.
