Quick answer
The full Archives route contains 1,300 rooms: 26 lettered sections multiplied by 50 rooms. There is no honest universal completion time because encounter pace, team size, deaths, recovery, and paid Gold skips change every run.
Route checklist
- Start with 26 total sections.
- Subtract the number of full sections you plan to skip.
- Multiply the remaining sections by 50 to get playable rooms.
- Use the Progress Tracker to measure your real pace instead of relying on a fixed speedrun estimate.
The room-count formula
The naming pattern runs from A-01 to A-50, then B-01 to B-50, through Z-50. Because the English alphabet has 26 letters, the base route is 26 × 50 = 1,300 rooms.
This structure also explains why “Z-50” is such a strong completion query: it names the last numbered room in the last lettered sector. Roblox lists an official badge with the same name, although its public description was blank when checked on August 29.
Why completion time varies
A room is not a fixed unit of time. Empty office corridors can be quick, while Teller, Forget-Me-Not, Honcho, recovery stops, multiplayer regrouping, and failed patterns can take much longer. A full-run estimate should use your own observed rooms-per-minute pace.
Gold skips remove entire sections and have a larger effect than shaving seconds from normal rooms. The first reported skip costs 100 Gold, with later prices increasing, so the practical question is how many skips your economy can support.
Plan a realistic session
Use the site’s Progress Tracker to mark finished sectors and note your elapsed time at each elevator. After three sectors, divide the elapsed minutes by rooms completed. That gives a personal pace grounded in the exact server and group you are playing.
- Solo runs have consistent decision ownership but no teammate recovery.
- Groups can split room reading but lose time when separated.
- Badge and Journal detours should be budgeted separately from route time.
- Launch-week patches can change both encounter frequency and effective pace.
Questions players ask
Does every player have to open 1,300 doors?
Not if the run buys sector skips. Without skips, the A–Z structure totals 1,300 rooms.
What is the last room?
The letter-and-number structure ends at Z-50.
How many sections are there?
There are 26 sections, one for each letter from A through Z.
